RIVERS seek to carry out training and learning in the community that will bring learning, awareness and empowerment to women. This is why we work with companies and organisations to deliver bespoke courses in the non-traditional way for women. RIVERS is also available to organise and promote social and community information to women.
RIVERS is aware that women have more complex and multiple support needs for a variety of reasons. These are needs that can be supported outside of the learning environment. Rivers work in partnership with organisations that support the community and women in particular. We work to improve women’s employment opportunities, carry out preventative work around social isolation, health and personal development.
We encourage women to integrate, support each other and explore the services that are available to improve their life chances. We work to equip women with information and knowledge that will empower them to win new challenges in life.
If we cannot help we make referrals to relevant organisations.
